The FNHMA hosts an annual conference every fall focusing on current issues and best practices in health management. On a yearly basis, we have 500 participants join us at our conferences and we also host an accompanying trade show.
Our conferences address trends, issues, tools, and successes in the areas of quality improvement and assurance; leadership and governance; professionalism; advocacy, partnerships and relationships; human resource management; financial management and accountability; health service delivery; planning; communication; and cultural awareness.
Our conference workshops and events are geared towards all aspiring and currently practicing health professionals. Our conferences also offer a great opportunity to network with other health directors, managers, and coordinators; band councilors; as well as elders from all across Canada.
