The FNHMA hosts an annual conference every fall focusing on current issues and best practices in health management. On a yearly basis, we have 500 participants join us at our conferences and we also host an accompanying tradeshow.
Our conferences address trends, issues, tools and successes in the areas of: quality improvement and assurance; leadership and governance; professionalism; advocacy, partnerships and relationships; human resource management; financial management and accountability; health service delivery; planning; communication; and cultural awareness.
Our conference workshops and events are geared towards all aspiring and currently practicing health professionals. Our conferences also offer a great opportunity to network with other health directors, managers and coordinators; band councillors; as well as elders from all across Canada.
