Course 100 Health Issues and Systems will be offered in an intensive format in Edmonton, Alberta. This is the first of five courses required in the First Nations Health Managers program leading to the Certified First Nations Health Manager (CFNHM) professional designation and it gives participants the opportunity to explore relevant topics in their work environment; network and build relationships with other health management professionals; receive specialized resources, and to produce important assignments that will help you in your job.

The course takes place over a nine week period. Students will receive their course materials and should begin the required readings, then, from May 8th – May 12th students will attend the on-site training. Students are required to complete two assignments by specific due dates, once the final assignment is handed in this will conclude Course 100 – Health Issues and Systems. This course will be taught by one of our experienced and friendly CFNHM instructors who is there to help guide participants through the course material and ensure that all participants leave with a valuable learning experience.
