Join FNHMA for our upcoming workshop on Health and Wellness Planning: CORE Essentials. This workshop distills the essential elements of creating a comprehensive Health and Wellness Plan, based on FNHMA's highly regarded Health and Wellness Planning: A Guide for First Nations publication.
Designed for communities in the early stages of their planning journey, this workshop will delve deeply into each component and focus on key activities and requirements, offering practical insights and exercises. The teachings will emphasize values-based planning, reflecting the importance of how the planning process aligns with community values.
The Health and Wellness Planning: CORE Essentials workshop focuses on essential elements from the Guide, emphasizing the CORE stages. Participants will delve deeply into each component and engage in practical exercises.
In health and wellness planning, CORE stands for:
- Collect data and engage stakeholders,
- Organize information and prioritize,
- Respond with programs and services,
- Evaluate results and plan for the future.
