First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA) is offering course 400 – Health Management Services II in an intensive format in Winnipeg, MB. This is the fourth of five courses in the First Nations Health Manager Program leading to the Certified First Nations Health Managers (CFNHM) professional designation. Course 400 will provide health managers with information and knowledge about support services and the resources necessary to develop and deliver health services. Two of the lessons will address the most valuable resource of any organization – their human capital. The people and practices side of human resource management must operate effectively in order to develop and deliver health services.

The course takes place over a nine-week period. Students will receive their course materials and should begin the required readings, then, from June 10 – 14, 2019, students will attend the on-site training in Winnipeg, MB. Students are required to complete two assignments by specific due dates, once the final assignment is handed in this will conclude Course 400 – Health Management Services II. This course will be taught by one of our experienced and friendly CFNHM instructors who are there to help guide participants through the course material and ensure that all participants leave with a valuable learning experience.
