This report summarizes all deaths that occurred between January 1, 2012<br/>and May 31, 2020 for which fentanyl or its analogues were detected, whether alone or in combination with other drugs, and the death resulted from illicit drug use. In the majority of deaths, fentanyl or its analogues[2] were detected in combination with other drugs.
