Join FNHMA for an informative Lunch & Learn exploring how the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) is addressing Tuberculosis (TB) across northern Saskatchewan and supporting First Nations communities on the path toward TB elimination.
Despite being preventable and curable, TB continues to impact Indigenous communities across Canada. This session will provide foundational TB knowledge while exploring how leadership, awareness and collaboration action can strengthen prevention efforts and support progress toward elimination.
Speaker: Tina Campbell, TB Advisor, NITHA.
Tina Campbell is a Registered Nurse of Cree ancestry and the Tuberculosis (TB) Advisor with the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority (NITHA), supporting 33 First Nations communities in northern Saskatchewan. She has over 15 years of public health nursing experience and is passionate about advancing equitable, culturally safe TB care.
