About the event
Join FNHMA for an inspiring Lunch & Learn session: Honouring the Journey: A Wholistic Curriculum for First Nations Health Managers and Cancer Care.
Presented by FNHMA’s own Andrea Aiabens, Manager of Programs, this session will explore culturally grounded approaches to wellness, support, and care within First Nations health management and cancer care journeys. The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of First Nation health leaders by developing and implementing a comprehensive public health workshop focused on the First Nations' cancer journey. This includes discussions related to access to screening and preventive services and building in regional and jurisdictionally specific learning and information through workshop activities.
FNHMA will highlight some activities, tools and resources that are covered in the 3-day curriculum, and information on the pilot at the end of May.
Thursday, May 21 at 1:00 PM (EDT).
Come learn, connect, and be part of an important conversation…
