PATHWAYS TO BUILDING CANCER EDUCATION FOR FIRST NATIONS HEALTH LEADERS
Pathways to Building Cancer Education For First Nations Health Leaders
The First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA) is developing a comprehensive public health workshop focused on the First Nations cancer journey made possible through partnership funding through the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC). The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of First Nation health leaders by developing and implementing a comprehensive public health workshop focused on the First Nations cancer journey, including discussions related to access to screening and preventive services, while building in regional and jurisdictionally specific learning and information through workshop activities. The workshop will equip health leaders with knowledge and skills to apply to a public health approach in their programs and services that will support improved cancer care and therefore better health outcomes.
Objective
FNHMA is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to develop a comprehensive evaluation framework. This framework will support a continuous quality improvement process aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of a pilot workshop and informing the development of future FNHMA initiatives.
Following the completion of a pilot workshop involving 10–12 participants, an evaluation will be conducted to assess participant learnings and gather feedback. The insights gained will be used to refine the final version of the workshop and contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of both current and future FNHMA offerings.
The deadline to submit your proposal is May 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
