FNHMA is inviting Indigenous Health Navigators, First Nations health professionals, and those working closely with the IHN role to participate in a 90-minute virtual focus group. Participants will help review and refine the draft competencies outlined in Part D of the report, Bridging Worlds, Creating Safety, and support the co-creation of a new and essential competency area.

FNHMA and SCO signed a Letter of Understanding (LOU) to formalize their commitment to collaboration in advancing First Nations health leadership and management across Manitoba by establishing the FNHMA Manitoba Network.

Through this initiative, FNHMA will support the development of a national network by identifying and establishing standardized competencies that reflect the diverse skill set of the current workforce.
