FNHMA is inviting Indigenous Health Navigators, First Nations health professionals, and those working closely with the IHN role to participate in a 90-minute virtual focus group. Participants will help review and refine the draft competencies outlined in Part D of the report, Bridging Worlds, Creating Safety, and support the co-creation of a new and essential competency area.

FNHMA is pleased to share the Engagement Session schedule for the Indigenous Health Navigator (IHN) Project. We encourage interested participants to mark their calendars, register for sessions and share this schedule widely with colleagues and networks of First Nations health professionals.

FNHMA is pleased to announce the association is entering the next stage of the Indigenous Health Navigator (IHN) project and is actively recruiting First Nations health leaders from across Canada to participate in a series of virtual regional sessions taking place throughout January 2026.
