The FNHMA, with support from Dr. Amy Bombay (Carleton University) and Dr. Bille Hardy (University of Toronto) and an Indigenous Advisory Group, is developing data literacy training designed for First Nations Health Managers and leaders responsible for planning, policy, and health service delivery. The goal is to equip First Nations Health Managers with the knowledge and skills to understand, analyze, and apply data in a culturally safe and effective way that will empower their community moving towards self-determination and supporting the needs of their Peoples.

This Lunch and Learn will share a brief overview of the training and invite participants to engage in conversations on data literacy and increase their knowledge in this space.

Participants will be invited to provide feedback to the FNHMA on the project to support its use and uptake.
