CORE Essentials: Health and Wellness Planning Workshop

FNHMA is pleased to offer CORE Essentials, a foundational Health and Wellness Planning Workshop created to support those working in First Nations community health who are at the beginning stages of developing a health and wellness plan.
This 1.5-day virtual workshop will take place on March 12–13 via Zoom and is specifically designed for individuals with no formal planning experience, including those working within fixed funding agreements.
Participants will be guided step-by-step through the essential components of health and wellness planning in a supportive, interactive learning environment. This introductory workshop offers the structure, tools, and confidence needed to begin building a strong, community-driven health and wellness plan.
This workshop is ideal for:
Community health staff and program coordinators
Individuals new to planning or formal health planning processes
Those developing their first health and wellness plan
Teams working within fixed or limited funding structures
No previous planning experience is required.

The CORE Planning Framework

Evaluate outcomes and plan for continuous improvement
The workshop emphasizes values-based planning, ensuring the planning process aligns with community strengths, priorities, and cultural values.
